Today I was waiting for the GREENMAN to come on at the traffic light. Then I noticed 5-7 old uncles and aunties that were waiting at the traffic junction looking up and down the road.. And on noticing that there were only right-turning cars, they decided to hobble across slowly. I suspect I saw a straight-going car that slowed down because, well, he couldn’t knock over old people just because he had the right-of-traffic right?

I tried to do the right thing by waiting for the GREENMAN but then I felt quite foolish that a young person like me was waiting patiently at the traffic light when aunties&uncles were just walking across it like they owned the road, so I succumbed.
